"Drapac is redefining value-for-money in its commercial developments. We believe that this project will demonstrate that comprehensively sustainable work spaces make good business sense."

Managing Director – Michael Drapac

The Parkville Precinct in Melbourne, Victoria, is home to some of the world's leading medical and biotechnology research organisations.

The Nucleus project at 750 Elizabeth Street sits at the gateway to the Parkville Precinct.

The Victorian Government aims for the state to become one of the world's top five biotechnology locations by 2010.

Nucleus is being designed as Melbourne's premier research and development facility and will help to realise the Government's vision with 12-storeys of purpose-built, environmentally sustainable, laboratory and research space.

The project will be located among many of Australia's most prestigious tertiary education, medical and research facilities, including Royal Melbourne Hospital, Women's Hospital and The University of Melbourne.

Nucleus' unique layout will allow researchers to collaborate with like-minded organisations and derive efficiencies by sharing laboratory spaces and sophisticated equipment.
